Bank ZENIT arranged 8 issues of rouble-denominated bonds totalling RUR8.5 billion in 2005
In 2005, Bank ZENIT arranged a few issues of rouble-denominated bonds totalling RUR8.5 at par, and thus confirmed its status as one of the leaders in the public debt financing market.
The issues were arranged to finance the current operations and development of companies such as OJSC Tatenergo, LLC MIRAX Group, LLC KAMAZ-FINANCE, OJSC Siberian Cement, CJSC OST Group, CJSC Baltimor-Neva, CJSC OST Group, LLC SLAVINVESTBANK, and LLC NITOL Group. Besides, Bank ZENIT participated in 21 issues of Russian regional, municipal and corporate bonds totalling RUR60 billion at par.
The scope of earlier announced veksel programmes implemented in 2005 exceeded RUR2.2 billion while new veksel programmes arranged by the Bank totalled RUR1.5 billion.
With a view to corporate funding development using the instruments of the international capital market, Bank ZENIT participated in four Eurobond issues in 2005 with the aggregate par value of $800 million.
Bank ZENIT successfully acted as a participant of the syndicated loan market. In May 2005, Bank ZENIT took a 1-year unsecured syndicated loan of $35 million at LIBOR+2.8% to finance trade operations of its clients, and lead managed a rouble-denominated syndicated loan for OJSC CB CENTER-INVEST.
